Part Time, 9a – 5p, Mon/Tues/Thurs, 2 days in office & 1 day remote

Salary:

$110/hr

Scope and Duties:

Assesses, deescalates callers, navigates resources, resolves complex concerns, and acts in crisis situations Identifies high-risk cases and responds as indicated under the direction of management Documents cases into the system Performs follow up calls and reporting as necessary As a Mental Health Provider, you will provide mental health care services Examines and diagnose patients with mental health conditions Counsels and educate patients and families about conditions Formulates treatment plans using evidence-based therapies and pharmacotherapy, if necessary Responsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services Completes all clinical and administrative documentation and paperwork in a timely manner Perform all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations Demonstrate ability to maintain productive working relationships with team members, other internal and external customers, and management team Read Order request(s) including any remarks, questions, directions, or requests for opinion; thorough review of medical history including service records and previous exams. This includes refuting previous medical opinions from previous examiners Administers and interprets psychological testing as needed Follows appropriate and applicable protocol if behavioral health or medical emergencies occur

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with an active and unrestricted New York License 5+ years of clinical experience; 1 year of experience working as PMHNP Ability to prescribe medications and provide care without supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required Experience using online clinical references and accessing professional (clinical and regulatory) internet sites Demonstrates compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service and care Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and using EMR and platforms Skilled in professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making Works independently and can manage time to provide a quality service while meeting set deadlines BLS Submit your resume to us today for consideration of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner opening and one of our dedicated recruiters will be in touch within 24 business hours.
