Nephrologist Confidential Queens, NY 11691 Overview We are a privately owned 16 bed community based center seeking a dedicated and skilled Nephrologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating kidney-related conditions, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients. Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose patients with kidney diseases and related disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical histories. Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other specialists, including cardiologists, hematologists, and occupational health professionals, to provide holistic care. Educate patients and their families about kidney health, treatment options, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with advancements in nephrology. Skills The successful candidate will possess the following skills: Strong knowledge of pathology , geriatrics , hematology , and cardiology as they relate to nephrology. Proficiency in developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Familiarity with CT imaging techniques relevant to kidney diagnostics. Basic life support certification is required. Understanding of behavioral health issues that may impact patient care. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
