The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients in various settings, including home care and critical care environments. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide health coaching to patients to promote wellness and disease prevention. Administer radiation therapy as needed for specific conditions. Perform basic life support procedures and monitor vital signs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in critical care settings, including ICU. Utilize medical coding for accurate documentation of patient encounters. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using Cerner or similar systems. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner or PA license in the state of practice. Master’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution. Experience in home care, critical care, pediatrics, or similar settings preferred. Proficiency in performing basic life support and monitoring vital signs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of medical coding practices is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner, is desirable.
