Spanish Speaking DEA in NY NY License Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans. This role involves working in various settings, including urgent care and geriatrics, with a commitment to improving patient outcomes and ensuring continuity of care. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients’ health status. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform cardiac catheterization procedures as required. Manage discharge planning for patients, ensuring a smooth transition from hospital to home or other care facilities. Suture wounds and provide necessary follow-up care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for seniors and patients requiring urgent care. Stay updated on advancements in medical practices, particularly in geriatrics and senior care. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification as a Nurse Practitioner. Valid Nurse Practitioner license with the ability to practice in the state of employment. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient assessments and interventions. Experience in a Level II trauma center is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient in managing medical records and utilizing electronic health record systems. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
