We are seeking a compassionate and skilledfull-time ( FT) Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join AlbanyGastroenterology Consultants! The ideal candidate will providehigh-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders,working closely with our team of physicians and healthcareprofessionals.

Job Description:

Essential Skills:

• Knowledge ofpertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine andtreat gastroenterology patients.
• Current provider card in BasicLife Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Has,or eligible for, hospital privileges
• Comfortable multitaskingwith a sharp attention to detail
• Can perform duties accurately ina timely and efficient manner.
• Can demonstrate exemplary patientservice skills and display courteousness and respect.
• Excellentinterpersonal skills, with a strong ability to remain cordialthroughout the workday as well as to maintain patience underoccasional stressful situations.
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
• Computer skills: Electronic medicalrecords, MS Office
• Demonstrates strong time management skills andorganizational skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA Laws andsafeguards and be able to always follow these guidelines.

Shift:

Monday 8:30am – 5:00pm Weekend rounding and sub-specialty consultswill be required in-patient
