Job Description:

Essential Skills:

• Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary toexamine and treat gastroenterology patients.
• Current providercard in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS)
• Has, or eligible for, hospital privileges
• Comfortablemultitasking with a sharp attention to detail
• Can perform dutiesaccurately in a timely and efficient manner.
• Can demonstrateexemplary patient service skills and display courteousness andrespect.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability toremain cordial throughout the workday as well as to maintainpatience under occasional stressful situations.
• Excellent verbaland written communication skills.
• Computer skills: Electronicmedical records, MS Office
• Demonstrates strong time managementskills and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHALaws and safeguards and be able to always follow these guidelines.

Requirements:

• NY License in goood standing
• DEA•Prior GIexperience a plus
