Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Medlead Careers Greenport, NY 11944 Calling all Nurse Practitioners who have a passion for geriatric care! We are looking for an energetic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our nursing home located in Greenport, NY.
Duties Include:
Demonstrate competency in planning and preparing for the care of the residents. Managing all primary care related consults. Check in with patients who have acute issues and establish a follow-up plan. Prescribe and interpret labs and diagnostic tests to obtain information for underlying infections or abnormalities. Prescribe medication and drugs. Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients’ medical history. Collaborate with Medical Directors and Registered Nurses to form a high-performing medical team. Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients with patients, family members and the medical team. Are you a fit? NP license in the state of NY Board Certification Long term care experience•required Compassion Responsibility and reliability
Schedule:
Full time Monday•Friday 8 Hour shifts
