Leading Behavioral Health Provider in Hudson Valley! 100% Outpatient Hybrid Work Schedule We have an exciting new opportunity to work in our thriving organization that has been serving people in the Hudson Valley community for over 100 years. We treat over 50,000 people per year annually suffering from various types of mental health ailments. Our organization has multiple locations and a dynamic and collaborative work environment. As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you would be working at one of our many outpatient clinics treating adult patients suffering from chronic to severe mental illness. The hours of the position would be Monday through Friday with the potential of doing a 4-day work schedule as well. There is no on call or weekends included. Please see job highlights below.

Responsibilities:
Performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management in outpatient setting Working with a team of 15 Psychiatry Providers Documenting all notes in EMR system (Net Smart) Responsible for seeing anywhere from 12-15 patients per day (20-30% no show rate) 1 hour allotted for psychiatric evaluations 20-30 minutes allotted for medication management Working with patients ages 18 and older suffering from various substance abuse, schizophrenia, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, and anxiety Working with social workers to help diagnose and treatment patients using cognitive behavioral therapy
Requirements:
Master’s Degree of Nursing from accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program Active DEA license Active New York state license Preferred Board Certification Open to seeing new graduates (1+ year of experience preferable) Experience with community health strongly preferred Must be focused on delivering high quality patient care Qualifications Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
