Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and demonstrate expertise in various medical procedures and treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage chronic health conditions
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as IV insertion and spinal taps
• Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Assist in sterile processing of medical equipment

Skills:

• Proficient in conducting physical assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
• Experience in working with people with developmental disabilities
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems and practices
• Competency in sterile processing techniques
• Ability to perform IV insertions and spinal taps with precision
