Practice the art and science of evidence-based nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Lead the charge in improving the patient care experience. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the management of care for the Urology patients in accordance with mutually agreed upon protocols and within the policies and procedures established by the Department of Nursing, the American Nurses Association, and NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group (NYPMG). The Nurse Practitioner provides quality care, services, triages and follow-up to patients; supports the physicians in the Urology department/service line and collaborates with all members of the health care team. Now, you have the opportunity to join us by stepping into this exciting role. This is a full-time, 40-hour work week; hours will vary. This position supports the Westchester Medical Group at various locations in the Westchester area (Scarsdale, Larchmont, Bronxville) . Preferred Criteria
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- 2+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialty
Required Criteria:
- BSN
- Master’s degree in Advanced Practice in area of specialty
- Current NYS RN license
- Current NYS NP license in area of specialty
