Subject to the medical protocolsestablished by Concentra and in cooperation with physician assignedto a center, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner shallprovide primary medical direction and coordination of professionalmedical care within the occupational health and urgent careprotocols. Centers have in house Xray, EKG, procedure rooms andphysical therapy.
Practice Hours:
M-F 8a-5pm Monthly RVU Bonus &Quaterly Quality Bonus program. In addition the clinician who joinsConcentra will be eligible for up to $20,000 recruitment bonus./n/n
Responsibilities:
/n
- Examines patient, compiles patientmedical data and results of examination.
- Administers or ordersdiagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratorytests.
- Compiles patient medical data, including health historyand results of physical examination.
- Interprets diagnostic testresults for deviations from normal.
- Performs therapeuticprocedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and woundcare, and managing infection.
- Instructs and counsels patientsregarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens andhealth maintenance.
- Develops and implements patient managementplans, records progress notes, and assists in provision ofcontinuity of care.
- Assists in the development, implementationand revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment andquality of occupational health care.
- Assists in the developmentand presentation of education and instructional programs.
- Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients andpeers while incorporating Orange Book values.
- Dedicated toexceeding customer and patient expectations as measured byNPER/NPS/TATs.
- Ensures accuracy when completing and executingtasks and performing quality assurance checks.
- Ensures accurate,concise, timely and complete documentation of results andpaperwork.
- Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patientexperience regardless of patient volume.
- Ability to manage time,prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment.
- Ability to adaptto changing business needs such as scheduling and workingadditional/different hours/shifts when appropriate.
- Ability toconsistently deliver quality care in a busy clinical environment.

Qualifications:

- Licensure in Pennsylvania
- Bachelors’ degree in related health field from an accreditedcollege or university
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Board Certification
