Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) RoleScope We are actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated experiencedPhysician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join a topCardiology practice in Torrington. The Cardiology PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) will provide direct care topatients in the outpatient setting in collaboration with thephysicians. The ideal candidate will provide high qualitypatient-centered care, advocacy and education for patients andtheir families. Must be self-motivated and flexible to meet thedemands of the specialty. The provider should exhibit a passion forcardiology and be open to being part of a rapidly growing institutewhere adaptability is paramount. Must be able to communicateeffectively with all members of the healthcare team, patients andfamily and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizationalskills. Educate patient and family members ensuring they understandthe care being provided, testing being performed, medicalconditions including treatment regimens and expected outcomes.

Clinical management in collaboration with the physicians in theoutpatient offices as well as in partnership with hospital-basedAPPs and physicians. Strong clinical background and the ability todiagnose, treat and manage complex cardiovascular care includingacute and chronic disease, medication management and othertherapies.
