WHAT WILLYOU DO

Our Talented Advanced Practice Providers plan, evaluate,and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resourcemanagement to patients, both adults and children in cooperationwith center physicians Adheres to the service and courtesy standardof Piedmont Urgent Care by delivering the highest standard ofpatient satisfaction at all times Provides patient care within therespective clinical area which complies with the Professional StaffBylaws, rules and regulations and Piedmont Urgent Care policies andprocedures Provides and/or serves as a resource for patient/familyand staff Provides an authenticated report of all services renderedand maintains accurate and complete records in an acceptable mannerCompletes necessary documentation and ensures communication tofacilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement Participatesin meetings/activities as required to support operations of theurgent care Participates in activities that enhance professionaldevelopment, complete and maintain certification in BLS, ACLS,ATLS, PALS, or NALS and maintains any additional specialtytraining/certifications as required by the area assigned Thisposition will report to the Regional Medical Director (RMD) and/orArea Clinical Operations Director (ACOD)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practicemedicine in the state of practice Advanced degree from anaccredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program ofstudy Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordancewith the state of Georgia Current DEA registration Experience withprocedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses Experiencewith reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs BLScertification (we will provide this if needed) Meets eligibilityrequirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent CareExperience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicinepreferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively withpatients, families and other employees
