• Support Pulmonary Medicine with referralsand outpatient management care.
• Provide medical services underthe supervision of a physician.
• Outpatient Schedule will include;new patient visits, urgent visits, outpatient follow upappointments and ongoing patient care.
• Perform physicalexamination and interview patients for health assessment and tocorrectly diagnose patients.
• Order appropriate diagnostic testingfor patients and interpret test results to determine abnormalconditions.
• Prescribe medication for patients.
• Monitor andtriage patient’s progress to make any necessary adjustments totreatment
• Document and update patient records QualificationsEligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) orAdvanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in CT is required.

Eligibility to be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP),or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) isrequired for Nurse Practitioners.
