Job Description
- Hiring a PRN Virtual Family Nurse Practitioner
- Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking to hire a
- PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- (Provider) to join a remote team. You will provide high-quality, holistic, evidence-based care to patients ages 18 months and older using our advanced telehealth platform. You’ll work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and help lead the way in patient-centered, virtual healthcare delivery.

- Weekend/Holiday Requirements
- : Must be available every other weekend, 1 minor holiday, and 1 major holiday, plus occasional weekday coverage as needed

Pay Rate:
- The anticipation pay rate is between $75-$77/hr. Hourly rate may depend on Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Clinical Excellence
- Provide comprehensive virtual care for acute, chronic, and transitional health needs
- Deliver health education, counseling, and STI/pregnancy prevention
- Accurately document all care in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Collaborate with internal/external care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional service to all patients
- Maintain a warm, responsive, and inclusive virtual environment
- Collaborate with pharmacy and MinuteClinic colleagues to enhance the patient experience Operational Support
- Manage clinical and non-clinical duties including inventory, phone calls, lab results, and clinic cleanliness (if hybrid/on-site support is ever required)
- Support business functions including billing, payment collection, and reporting
- Contribute to hiring and training when applicable Autonomy & Professional Development
- Exercise independent clinical judgment and problem-solving
- Remain actively involved in continuing education and professional development
- Maintain compliance with all safety-sensitive protocols and licensing requirements

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted New Jersey NP or PA license (NY and NC licenses a strong plus)
- Minimum of 2 years medically relevant experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High-speed internet (Minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload)
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize independently
- Familiarity with EHRs and digital platforms

Preferred Experience & Attributes:
- MinuteClinic experience
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced virtual care environment
- Collaborative spirit and dedication to patient-first care
- Comfort with evolving technologies and service delivery models

Licensure & Certifications:
- Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., AANP, ANCC)
- Active, unrestricted license in NJ (multi-state/compact license is a plus)
