Mon-Fri Hartford HealthCare is seeking a full-time NursePractitioner to work in the Neurogastro Enterology & MotilityCenter. This role is responsible for providing skilled health careto patients, and facilitating clinical management of patients bycollaborating with attending gastro enterologists, clinical nursesand other members of health care team.

Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Role Scope:
- Provides direct patient care in office consultations, includingassessment, work-ups, triage, emergency work-ins, and other patientcare activities
- Obtains and documents health history, performsand documents physical exam, and orders and interprets diagnostictests
- Provides counseling to patients regarding diagnosis andexpected course of treatment
- Attend/Host recurring meetings todiscuss complex patients or address any issues with Motilityconduction of studies
- Collaborates with physicians to provideappropriate direct care interventions within scope of practice

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- NationalCertification in Advanced Practice and current CPR certification
- Current State of CT APRN license with prescriptive authority andcurrent DEA number & 100% attendance to maintain annual mandatoryskill updates
- 2 years of experience in ambulatory care settingpreferred
- Digestive health/Gastro Enterology experience would beplus
