The Center for Wound Healing and HyperbaricMedicine The mission of The Center for Wound Healing and HyperbaricMedicine is to provide the Southern New England region with accessto expertise in advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicinetherapies. Wound Care Advanced Practitioner Role Scope
- Comprehensive diagnosis and wound assessment of patients
- Orderingappropriate lab tests, imaging studies, radiographic and othercardiac imaging studies, interpret lab, imaging studies, maintaincurrency in advanced cardiac life support
- Management ofHyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments
- Coordinate care of assignedpatients including nursing care, nutrition, medications, dressingsand adjunctive wound therapies

- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s program.
Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Advanced PracticeRegistered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
- Certificationor eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant, or NationalBoard Certification as a Nurse Practitioner through a nationalboard certification.
- Wound care certification or experiencepreferred ; Training in Hyperbaric Therapy will be provided We takegreat care of careers.
