Primary Care NP or PA for Westerly, RI 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Westerly, RI 02891 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is accustom to comprehensive care to patients and accustom to skilled nursing facilities and inpatient rehabilitation. This role requires a strong foundation in internal medicine / family medicine and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions. Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention. Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, wound care, and minor surgical interventions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems, including Epic. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and best practices in infectious disease care. Stay updated on advancements in primary care practices, including anatomy knowledge and coding systems. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Family or Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of internal medicine principles and practices. Experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with dialysis procedures is a plus. Proficient in managing infectious diseases and implementing infection control measures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Full-time Pay:

$134,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
