MD Collab Charleston, SC Overview ComplexCare Solutions delivers home assessment services for healthplans nationwide utilizing Nurse Practitioners and PhysicianAssistants. Many of our NP or PA employees require a collaborativeagreement with a physician in order to complete their homeassessments based on specific state requirements. The MDcollaborator works with these individuals to provide oversight inalignment with state specific requirements, as outlined below. Thisis a remote position. Responsibilities Enter into Written Collaborative Practice Agreements and/or aCollaborate Relationship with the CCS Practitioners, depending onstate specific requirements; Provide supervision and collaborative oversight for CCSPractitioners who provide CCS Practitioner Services in the ServiceArea, consistent with the Collaborative Practice Agreements and anyapplicable Protocols, and in accordance with applicable state andfederal law; Review a representative sample of CCS Practitioner Servicerecords at least once every three months, or more often as requiredby law or by CCS, to evaluate whether the CCS Practitioner Serviceswere provided congruent with applicable Protocols; provide resultsof such review to CCS and the applicable CCS Practitioner; andmaintain copies on site for possible regulatory agency review; Be available to the CCS Practitioner for consultation, asneeded, either on site or by electronic access, including but notlimited to, telephone, facsimile and email, during normal businesshours; Attend trainings and orientations arranged and required by CCS,if applicable, such events not to exceed once per month, and beavailable to participate in conference calls with CCS’s MedicalDirector as may be requested from time to time; Maintain such records and furnish such reports regardingprovision of the CCS Practitioner Services, including monthly timerecords appropriately describing the Services rendered, in the formand at such times as required by CCS Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures andmission statement; Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements asoutlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in allways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the datahandled or services rendered in the undertaking of theposition; Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may bereasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achievingoperational and financial success of the Company; Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of dutiesfor applicable processes and procedures within your jobfunction; We reserve the right to change this job description from timeto time as business needs dictate and will provide notice ofsuch.
