Follows established nursing standards, procedures, and practices. Accountabilities Obtains medical histories or performs physical examinations. 15% As appropriate to area of expertise, provides health maintenance care for adults, including annual physicals; provides well child care, including screening and immunizations; provides prenatal care and family planning services. 15% Diagnoses, treats, and monitors chronic diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure. 15% Collaborates with physician and other health professionals as needed.15% 5Writes orders for the interprets laboratory studies, x-rays, special tests, medications, treatments, and other matters pertaining to patients’ care. 15% Prescribes medications and other treatments. 15%
