Carolina Plus Urgent Care is seeking experienced PRN Nurse Practitioners/PRN Physician Assistants to join our care team in various shifts. Carolina Plus Urgent Care Primary Responsibilities Include:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses. Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments. Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients and document results. Finish charts appropriately and in a timely manner. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities. Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care. Familiarity with patient age range of six months to geriatric population. Place IVs and blood draws as required. Other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidates Must Have:

SC Nurse Practitioner License or SC Certified Physician Assistant Licensure (PA-C) required DOT Certification required A minimum of six months of experience in an urgent care/ER setting required (Mandatory). Previous experience in primary care/family medicine helpful IVs and drawing blood experience a plus Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities ​Ability to commit to PRN shifts
