Dickerson Pike, Nashville, TN 37207 East Nashville Family Medicine is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We promote a fun and friendly work environment. The NP handles phone calls from patients who are seeking medical information or medical attention. The NP will often assist the physician during procedures and will provide post procedure care. NP will be responsible for patient follow-up phone calls. Position is full-time, Monday-Friday. No evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Position Requirements:

• Current Nurse Practitioner License in the state of TN

ACLS/BLS

preferred

• Family Medicine experience

Job Duties:

• Functions independently to perform age-appropriate examinations for Family Medicine patients
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s needs.
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
• Implements interventions to support the patient.
• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
• Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools.
• Make follow-up phone calls to the patients
