POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education /

Training:

Earned a Registered Nurse & Nurse Practitioner diploma or degreefrom a college or university. Currently licensed by the State of Tennessee as a

Registered Nurse& Nurse Practitioner Workplace Experience:

Equipment and Skills Training:

Competent in the use of standard medical office equipment andmedical supplies including computers with appropriate medicalsoftware, facsimile machines, copying machines and telephones.

Physical Environment:

Family medical practice office.

Physical Effort:

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, sit at a deskand communicate, in English, both verbally and in written form.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Schedules CME Maintains accurate medical records See patients efficiently and is responsible for inpatientrounding as needed. Orders and reviews medical and lab tests Provides quality patient care Completes additional duties and special tasks in a timelyfashion. Observes universal precautions Supports physicians. Able to have communication with patient and familymembers. Maintains office standards when physician is out of theoffice Attends Williamson Health Medical Group practitionermeetings Outreach within the community.
