Exciting Opportunity for Psychiatric Physician Assistants & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking dedicated Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PAs) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders. Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Requirements:
Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state you are applying to. Board Certification as a PA or PMHNP. Must have DEA or have the ability and qualifications to obtain it. Prior experience preferred in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting. Must possess a State License to practice and it must be in good standing. Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology.
