POSITION SUMMARY

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will operate independently or as part of a small team to deliver high-quality mental health care services. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing comprehensive and patient-centered care that emphasizes mental health and wellness.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education :

Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing. High school diploma required.

Experience:

Experience working in substance use is preferred but not required.

Licensure:

Current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP or

PMHNP-BC

).

Additional Requirements:

A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, State Regulations, and Federal Regulatory Standards. Complete TB testing, Drug Screening, and Background check upon being hired.

PRIMARY RESPO NSIBILITIES
Clinical Assessment:

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic interviews. Evaluate patients for mental health disorders, substance use, and any co-occurring conditions.

Diagnosis and Treatment Planning:

Formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses based on clinical assessments and diagnostic criteria. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions, therapy, and medication management.

Therapeutic Interventions:

Provide individual and possibly group therapy sessions using a range of therapeutic modalities. Offer psychoeducation to clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.

Medication Management:

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Monitor medication efficacy, side effects, and overall treatment progress.

Business Development:

Partner with Business Development to attend networking events and create marketing resources for community.
