License Full Job Description Nurse Practitioner Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, and managing treatment plans for patients with various health conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to infection control practices and the ability to work effectively with the patients. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. We have 2 clinics, one in Knoxville TN and one in Alcoa TN. This job requires being onsite for both clinics. You will only be in one clinic per day. This position is Monday thru Thursday, 10 hours per day. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients. Responsible for the application of specialized knowledge and skills in providing care to the ambulatory patient. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals on matters relevant to patient health. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Proven experience in infection control practices.. Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and performing clinical procedures. Proficiency in inserting IV’s into patients. Willingness and ability to learn and perform many of the procedures we do at this clinic Must meet the State of Tennessee’s requirements as a Nurse Practitioner.
