Nurse Practitioner 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Jackson, TN 38305 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be committed to providing high-quality medical services. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their health needs, develop treatment plans, and ensure optimal care delivery in a collaborative environment. Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred, along with proficiency in eClinicalWorks. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical exams and health histories. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization, tube feeding, and family planning as required. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and families on health management, infection control, and preventive care measures. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure compliance with coding standards. Provide care for geriatric patients, addressing their unique health challenges. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure. Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in medical-surgical nursing or trauma care. Proficiency in infection control practices and patient education strategies. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically eClinicalWorks is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
