The Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting the licensed nursing staff in maintaining the highest quality of care for the residents in assisted living and memory care settings. Responsibilities include providing a safe environment, assisting with activities of daily living, and attending to the resident’s physical comfort. This position requires a high energy team player with excellent communication skills and multi-tasking abilities. Candidates should have great attention to detail, be outgoing and friendly, and enjoy connecting with residents and family members as well as the team. Qualifications Basic life support certification Proficient in EMR and EHR systems Strong patient care and communication skills Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings Familiarity with critical care and memory care practices Understanding of HIPAA regulations Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including those with developmental disabilities
