What you will be doing
Assist with Activities of Daily Living offering companionship care
Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand
Perform light housekeeping
Medication reminders
Companion services
Prepare a home cooked meal (you don’t need to be a gourmet chef)
A HomemakerCompanion will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services
What you bring along
Successful completed HHACNA state required course would be appreciated but not mandatory
Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Homemaker Companion must be able to lift at least 15 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
Reliable transportation is required.
