The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals and memory care facilities. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. Provide patient service by addressing needs and concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients. Support nursing staff in providing care within a Level II trauma center or similar healthcare facility. Assist with lifting and transferring patients safely to prevent injury. Engage with patients to promote emotional well-being and provide companionship. Experience Previous experience in patient care or as a Nursing Assistant is preferred but not required. Familiarity with memory care practices is a plus. Experience working in a hospital setting or Level II trauma center is advantageous. Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
