HHA/CNA MUST BE BILLINGUAL
La Mano Amiga Corp. Carrollwood, FL 33625 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals requiring long-term assistance, including those in hospice care. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with mobility and transferring clients safely, including lifting when necessary. Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medical records for each client. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or senior care is preferred but not required. Knowledge of medication administration and basic medical record keeping is beneficial. Ability to lift and assist clients as needed, demonstrating physical capability for the role. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Must speak both English and Spanish fluently.
