Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards. You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor patient conditions and provide essential support. Duties Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing needs. Help patients with mobility, including transferring them in and out of beds or wheelchairs. Monitor and document blood pressure. Observe patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to nursing staff. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, particularly those with dementia or disabilities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation. Skills Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices. Experience in dementia care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Proficient in medical documentation systems for accurate record-keeping. Excellent observational skills to identify changes in patient conditions promptly. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
