Requirements:

Must have cooperative work attitude with co-workers, management, patients, visitors, and physicians Maintains CPR certification CNA or Endo tech certification preferred. Endo tech experience preferred. Maintains punctuality and regular attendance Available for various shifts/schedule, no nights or weekends Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift 30 pounds May require pushing/pulling stretchers with patients weighing 300 pounds or more Must have ability to work well under stress while performing multiple tasks and have effective communication and interpersonal skills Maintains patient confidentiality Has positive, upbeat attitude

Endo Tech:

Prepares procedure room and equipment prior to cases Cleans procedure room in between and after cases Maintains, cleans, and stores endoscopic equipment and supplies Reprocesses flexible endoscopes according to policy Assists physician with endoscopic procedure, including obtaining specimens Handles and disposes of Biomedical waste Preop/PACU Nursing assistant: Help nurses prepare patients for surgery Help nurses recover patients after surgery Obtain blood and urine specimens Take vital signs Assist with emesis basins, bedpans, urinal as needed Open and closes units Clean units Cleans stretchers and keeps unit tidy
