Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life. Monitor and document clients’ health status and report any changes to the office staff. Assistance with Self-Administration of medication. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.

Requirements:

Current CNA or HHA license issued by the state of Florida Board of Nursing, Department of Health.

training Certificate. Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication Certificate. Minimum 2 hours. Alzheimer’s Training Certificate. Minimum 3 Hours. Domestic Violence Training Certificate. Physical.

• A statement from a health care professional dated within the last six months that states the contractor is “free from communicable diseases”.
• Under Florida law we cannot accept a statement from a Chiropractor. CPR Certification Card.

Valid State of Florida Driver License or ID Card. Social Security Card. Professional References, including contact names and phone numbers. Eligible Florida Level 2 background Screening (fingerprint based). Previous experience in home health care or a similar role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices. Willingness to undergo drug screening as required.
