    Description Essential Functions
    Approves request for time off assuming the operation is at all times properly staffed to service patients.

Ensures optimal use or resources including float, part time & PRN staff and cross utilization of personnel and overtime. Assists in recruiting, interviewing and hiring of candidates for open positions. Assists in thepletion of performance appraisals and submits for approval. Communicates to Coordinator relevant information including rmendations for improvement. Applies and enforces the Clinic safety practices and manages situations in a reduced risk manner. Works closely with the Physicians, office staff, chemo staff, and CI department on the online chemo orders. Send request to update and add new protocols as needed. Tracks attendance and Handles corrective actions/disciplinary actions. Serves as back up resource for Nurse Navigator in offering education and support to patients and families. Checks the cleaning log to ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning areplete. Frequently observes the staff to ensure they are following the clean room policies. Accepts responsibility for reading and referencing new policy and procedures and clinical service notes. Attends mandatory safety training programs and lectures. Assists Chemotherapy with mixing in chemo, giving injections, and administering hydration as needed. Documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required by specialty; follows specific protocols. Serves as a Super User and resource for Intellidose. Monitors and oversees chemotherapy drug inventory within the Lynx system including drug ordering and overall oversight of chemotherapy drug inventory. Reconciles quarterly chemotherapy rebates and works with McKesson and accounting on this function Works closely with the Clinical Coordinator and Physicians to enhance departmental unity and serves as a back up to the Clinical Coordinator as needed. Provides alternative nutrition teaching and coordination of feeding supplies for chemotherapy patients Serves as a back up to the Nurse Navigator when needed for monitoring of the CCCR financial process email group and facilitates needs identified such as adding diagnoses, clarifying orders, and answering clinical question with direction from the physicians Work Environment & Physical Demands
Position requires a great deal of walking and standing, operating aputer and entering patient information. This position requires goodmunication and listening skills with patients. Must be able to put away departmental supplies, weighing up to 25 pounds and must be able to push/pull a patient sitting in a wheelchair. May be exposed to live vaccines, blood-borne pathogens, and bio-hazardous materials. Requirements Required Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing. Active Florida RN license. Current

Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification Preferred Education and Experience
Preferred 2 years oncology experience, Coding, Teambuilding, Coaching, Ability to multi
