Responsibilities:

Lead and integrate a fully developed SkinHealth and Wound management program in collaboration with nursingcenter management. Support central supply serving as the clinicalexpert for skin, wound, and incontinent products. Oversee durablemedical equipment related to the prevention and management ofwounds.

Qualifications:

Must possess a RN license (MPT/DPT withleadership review/approval) Must complete Skin Health Team Leadorientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hireCommitment to attend monthly support calls is required. Must havenational accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC,AWCC)or be committed to complete Advanced Wound Training andnational accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire (Forthose hired with wound certification, completion of a fast-trackhybrid program for regulatory wound care requirements will beprovided) Knowledge and experience with clinical charting, incidentreporting and investigation response is required. Must have astrong knowledge base of acceptable standards of care for nurses,providers, therapists, dietitians, and others on the nursing centerteam. Experience in team building and demonstrating respect for theinterprofessional team in wound management is required. Must haveknowledge of national wound guidelines and wound products.

Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process isrequired. Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management,PowerPoint skills are required.
