Urgently Hiring CNAs (Monroe, GA) 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Monroe, GA Job Overview We are urgently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for various locations including Lithonia, Decatur, and Stone Mountain. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires compassion, dedication, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and memory care challenges. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff. Provide compassionate care to patients with dementia and other memory-related conditions. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support patients in emergency situations by applying knowledge of emergency medicine protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control practices. Engage with patients to promote their emotional well-being and social interaction. Qualifications Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Georgia. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of patient service principles and practices. Familiarity with medical documentation processes and HIPAA compliance. Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to patient needs. Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and families.
