POSITION SUMMARY

The Certified Nursing Assistant rolefocuses on providing essential care and support to individuals within agroup living environment. This position will work closely withindividuals and their families to ensure their well-being and maintaintheir quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with dailyactivities, monitoring health conditions, and promoting a safe andnurturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Highschool diploma or GED required Completion of a certified nursingassistant training program and a valid CNA license certificationrequired At least one year of experience as a certified nursingassistant preferred Ability to adapt to various home environmentsEffective communication with individuals and their families Ability towork evening, weekend and holiday hours according to the team model andan on-call rotation will be required as necessary Non-profit humanservice experience highly preferred Demonstrated ability to workeffectively as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and manage competing priorities Demonstrated strongattention to detail Demonstrated strong time management andorganizational skills Demonstrated ability to anticipate future neededchanges or identify problem areas and take effective actions Must beable to perform CPR and crisis intervention using agency-trainedprotocols Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration,presentation, and written and verbal communication Basic experience withMicrosoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook preferred Mustpossess a current, valid driver’s license in state of residence, have aminimum of two (2) years of driving experience within the United States,and have an acceptable driving record
