Description
Summary:
The
CRMA/C.N.A.
is responsible for the administration of medication, communication with health care providers, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), light housekeeping, and laundry, while ensuring the accuracy of physician orders and providing hands-on care to meet identified resident needs. This role includes coordination with other staff, implementation of the interdisciplinary service plan for each resident, reporting changes in resident condition, and documenting the resident’s ability to perform self-care. The
C.N.A./CRMA
observes, documents, and reports all aspects of resident ADLs, health status, and compliance with physician orders to ensure appropriate levels of care and placement. Working under the direction of the Residential Care Coordinator and with guidance from the Director of Health Services, the
C.N.A./CRMA
supports the highest levels of physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being in accordance with the resident service plan and current standards of care.
This is a Per Diem position, offering flexible scheduling based on the needs of the facility and the availability of the candidate.

Requirements
Education, Training or Certifications Required:
C.N.A certification in good standing, CRMA certification in good standing
Experience Required:
One or more years experience in geriatrics. Familiarity with memory loss care
Special Requirements:
BLS within 120 days of hire date, Basic computer skills preferred
Cognitive Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Ability for high performance under stressful situations. Must be able to prioritize, multi-tak and follow through
Physical Demands:
Able to stand/work for most of an 8-12 hour shift. Must be able to bend/lift 25 – 55 lbs (assisting residents in and out of bed, etc.)
Environment:
Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, contagiuos diseases and potential for periods of high stress.
