3 shifts per 8 week scheduling period
Night Shift:
7pm•7am Availably to work
Hours:
3:00pm•11:00pm or 11:00pm•7:00am CNA Companion Role Float between units, provide 1 to 1 care to patients. This CNA Companion role is a great opportunity to spend more dedicated time and build rapport with the patients you care for Ability to float between Medical-Surgical Units with focus of Cardiac and Post-Surgical diagnoses, as well as our Special Care unit; which provides great exposure to specialties while continuing to expand your experience and skills 12 hour shifts
Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant Companion role functions under supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs various service duties to provide patient care, supervision, companionship, and support to the patient. Helps to maintain the patient room in a clean and orderly condition. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications:
Certified as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine and on the State of Maine Registry, having completed a six-week or equivalent course required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
