What You’ll Be Doing:

Getting Patients Ready to Shine

  • Prep charts, check vitals, and set the stage for great care! Hands-On Clinical Work
  • Administer meds, give immunizations, collect specimens, and assist with minor procedures like wound care, suture removal, and more. Tech Savvy & Detail-Oriented
  • Keep patient records up to date in our electronic medical records (EMR) system. Team Player Extraordinaire
  • Support providers, participate in team huddles, and help keep the clinic running like a well-oiled machine. Patient Educator
  • Help patients understand their treatment plans, new medications, and follow-up care.

What You Bring to the

Table:
Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and Graduate of an

Accredited Medical Assistant Program Certification:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CCMA)

  • Required at time of hire and must be maintained.
Certification:

Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain before starting). Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of POCT, Immunizations, and Injections
  • You’ll be giving shots like a pro! Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • You think on your feet and adapt quickly. Excellent Organization & Time Management
  • You keep things running like a well-oiled machine. Customer Service Rockstar
  • Patients feel comfortable and cared for in your hands. Tech-Savvy
  • Comfortable with Microsoft applications and EMR systems. Radiology Certification (if applicable)
  • If the role requires X-ray functions, you must have radiology training from your MA program or a validated competency checklist.
