REQUIREMENTS
Requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency, and 0 – 1 years of experience. Requires a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license.
JOB DUTIES
The ability and willingness to exhibit competency in the technical areas needed to do a specific job. Reads, comprehends, and correctly applies all rules, regulations and policies applicable to work assignments. Provides care to patients/residents by means of personal hygiene, first aid, and the monitoring of patient/resident conditions. Maintains a safe environment for consumers. Recognizes situations that requires the support care professional to take urgent action. Recognizes and complies with the agency’s policy on confidentiality. Abides by the procedures regarding the right of the consumers. Participates in and completes required training. Able to document facts about physical and/or behavioral problems in an organized manner on approved form.
