DescriptionPlease apply here if you are interested in joiningthe next Mission Health CNA Training Program cohort. •Please readall the information before submitting an application•Our next CNATraining Program starts on August 11th and goes for 6 weeks with aMonday to Friday commitment. We will only be accepting 40 studentsinto this program. A maximum of 8 hours can be missed during the 6weeks of this class because the hours are mandated by the state ofNC. You may be required to start one week in advance to ensure youwill be admitted into the program without delay. You must work forMission Hospital full-time for 5-6 weeks after completion of thecourse while waiting to take your exam. You must maintain a goodstanding in the Health Unit Coordinator role to take the stateexam. You must maintain an 80% or higher in the program to pass, ifyour grade goes below a 75% you may be dropped from the program.
Wewill have a hiring event to fill our seats for this program,interviewing is the only way to secure a seat- further informationwill be sent about this event date. Our nurse managers willinterview for their unit and offers will come from TalentAcquisition. All candidates will report to the hired department andwork under that manager. You will be trained to work as a HealthUnit Coordinator on the unit. You will stay in this position untilyou take and pass your state exam. Once you have passed your stateexam and are on the state registry, you will begin working as a CNAon that same unit. The average time worked as a Health UnitCoordinator is about 5-6 weeks as state testing is not immediateand delays can occur. It is required to work full-time with usafter you complete the program (three 12-hour shifts a week, with aweekend requirement). Once you accept a position with us, you willbe required to work 6 months on the unit that offered you a CNAposition before you are eligible to transfer to another departmentin the hospital.
This position is a paid position and you will beconsidered an HCA employee. You will be benefit eligible, and willbe able to take advantage of benefits like tuition assistance,student loan repayments, PTO, medical/dental/vision, and so muchmore! HCA will cover all costs of the program, like paid testingfees, scrub cost reimbursement, on-the-job training, and test prepbooks.
This is a highly competitive program and we are only able toaccept 40 of the many interested candidates. Because of this, wecannot reschedule your interview once it is set up. Attending theinterview day is the only way to be considered for a spot in thecohort, no exceptions will be made.
