Summary of Job Duties:
The Nursing Assistant works under the direct supervision of the licensed nurses or medical providers to administer direct patient care and assist with the flow of patients in the ambulatory medical clinic. This position will function as part of a team and work with a diverse patient population. Other duties as assigned.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
At least six months of experience providing personal care to patients in a facility, home, clinic or private service organization
Must be certified as a certified nursing assistant
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):
Proficient skills with obtaining vital signs including manual blood pressure readings, obtaining patient history, and navigating electronic medical records
Must have effective communication skills and be able to function as a member of a team
Ability to assist medical providers with office procedures and application of removable orthopedic devices
Ability to perform CLIA waved lab tests

Salary Information:
$13.00 per hour
