POSITION SUMMARY
Provides direct patientcare services and keeps records on personal health care activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist residents with activities of dailyliving which include, but are not limited to, personal hygiene,bathing, dressing, transporting, and transfers. Assists residentswith dining to include escorting, transferring, order taking,serving, feeding, meal preparation, and clean up. Assist withhousekeeping services, including but not limited to, bed making,trash removal, laundry, room and bathroom cleaning as needed, andrequests from residents. Leads and assists with life enrichmentactivities with guidance and support from Life Enrichment Leadersand Supervisors. May include, but is not limited to, activities,craft/game groups, life skills, daily pleasures, and one on oneinteraction. Escort residents to scheduled programming. Couldparticipate in outings and/or day trips. Encourages dailyparticipating in scheduled programming. Take and record vital signsand weights as ordered or required by regulations. Administersprescription medications at the appropriate times for assigned unitduring shift. Signs off on all medications at the time ofadministration. Participates in and attends all in-service trainingand education programs as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.

Full Physical Demands, WorkEnvironment, and Expected Hours of Work:
The physical demandsdescribed here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob. This position is very active and requires frequent standing,walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and climbing. This positionwill be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. and abilityto push up to 250 pounds independently. The individual must useproper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living.
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night andweekend work.
TRAVEL:
No travel is expected, although occasionaltravel may be required for training sessions, continuing educationopportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
State Certification as aNursing Assistant and Med Tech Certification in CPR, AED, and FirstAid 1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare positionpreferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability toread, write, speak and understand English fluently. Ability to meetor exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software andoffice equipment. Ability to understand and follow directions asgiven. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
