Part-Time Nursery Assistant Southern Pines UMC 175 Midland Road, Southern Pines, NC 28387 Job Overview This is a part-time on-site role for Sunday mornings (4hrs) as a Nursery Care Provider at Southern Pines United Methodist Church located in Southern Pines, NC. The Nursery Care Provider will be responsible for providing care and supervision to infants and toddlers during church services and events. Duties Strong Communication and Customer Service skills Basic knowledge of Medicine for handling common childhood illnesses Experience in providing Training or caregiving services Experience in Home Care or childcare settings Patience and compassion when dealing with children Ability to work effectively in a team setting Basic First Aid and CPR certification is a plus Experience Candidates should have experience or skills in one or more of the following areas: Preschool or daycare settings Babysitting or nannying Special education or working with individuals with disabilities Classroom management techniques Infant care practices First aid certification

Hours:

4 hours Sunday Mornings Potential to add hours as necessary for church events, special services, and groups. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
