We are a summer camp for people with disabilities of all ages. We work hard and play hard too! Our campers often have complex medical needs. You will gain experience with common procedures such as tube feedings, med administration, diabetes management, seizure management, and a familiarity with disability. Responsibilities Assist campers and counselors as needed with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Provide basic first aid to campers and counselors. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols. Assist nursing staff with medical procedures. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred; experience in acute care or hospital settings is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Must be able to lift and move patients safely while adhering to safety guidelines.
