7-7a Job SummaryReporting to the Medical SurgicalNursingManager of North 6, provides assistance with nursing care ofpatients as needed under the direction and supervision of licensednursing personnel. Nursing care is provided in accordance with thestated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing ServicesDepartment and regulatory agencies. TheNursing Assistantisaccountable for the aspects of nursing care they are directed toprovide within their scope of practice.
Minimum QualificationsEducation High School diploma or equivalent required. ExperienceMinimum of one year acute care experience or medical/surgicalclinical experience preferred. Licensure and/or Certification BLShealthcare provider required. Certified Nursing Assistantpreferred. Skills Ability to take vitals. Communication skills.
