Certified Nursing Assistant Elite Caring Adult Medical Daycenter 80 West Upper Ferry Road, Ewing, NJ 08628 Nursing Assistant Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team in our Adult Medical Day Center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality client care. As a Nursing Assistant, you will assist clients with daily living activities, support nursing staff, support the Director of Activities and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. You will assist with weights and tasks in both the Nursing Department, as well as the Recreation Department with our Sensory Clients, trips to the store and more. Responsibilities Assist Clients with toileting as needed and daily living activities. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration when requested by DON/RN. Provide support in the Recreation Department. Assist in the preparation of Clients for examinations or procedures. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Help serve breakfast and lunch and feed clients as needed. Maintain accurate working relationships with this small but mighty team. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients. Other items as needed. Experience Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with how an Adult Medical Day Center works. Person who likes a team approach to giving care. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
