Aesthetic Nurse or Medical Assistant (Aesthetic Medicine / Cosmetic Dermatology) 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars New York, NY 10001 Aesthetic Nurse or Medical Assistant (Aesthetic Medicine / Cosmetic Dermatology) $70k-$85k + Bonus (Must be able to work in two locations, split between NYC and Nassau County, Long Island) Prestigious high-end Manhattan Plastic Surgery conglomerate, provider of medical aesthetic procedures and treatments. Practice is committed to enhancing natural beauty through personalized care and the latest aesthetic technologies. Seeking either Aesthetic Nurse or Medical Assistant to support team, two days in Manhattan and two days in Nassau County, Long Island. Aesthetic Nurse position requires RN with experience in aesthetic medicine or cosmetic dermatology. Must have nursing degree (RN or LPN) with at least 2 years in aesthetic medicine or cosmetic dermatology. Medical Assistant position; one year experience, graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (required) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent). Phlebotomy certification a must. Both positions require a strong understanding of cosmetic procedures and skincare treatments. Assist provider during minimally-invasive aesthetic procedures. Draw blood for use with autologous procedures. Prepare treatment rooms to maintain sterile environment, cleanliness and supply inventory. Take patient medical histories, measure vital signs, and document information accurately. Managing social media content by overseeing and organizing before and after photos, patient consents and digital files. Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care and expectations. Schedule consultations, follow-ups, and procedures. Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records using EMR systems. Responsible for various administrative tasks. Stay informed on current trends and state of art developments in the aesthetics field. Contribute to marketing efforts and social media presence a plus.
